     On Thursday, October 30th, New Windsor School held their Literature on Parade. Each class or grade level read a book or series of books and then dressed up as characters from the book. In some cases the class made props to carry in the parade. The students actually paraded up and down the back driveway in front of their peers in costume as the students cheered for each class. In some cases the teachers dressed up to match the book characters their class had read. Besides being a fun way of culminating books read by the students, the literature parade follows New Windsor School's Magnet theme of Literature through the Humanities. The day was one of fun and learning for everyone.
