Students are urged to become acquainted with their counselor early in the school year. The counselor will be willing to discuss any problem the student may have. North Junior High School offers a variety of class selections that will prepare students for further education, business or vocational careers. Daily, weekly and/or monthly check sheets may be requested by parent, teacher or student through the guidance department. All check sheets are signed by the parent and returned by the student to the counselor.

If a student is absent for three or more days, arrangements can be made through the guidance office to have work sent home.
