We at Vails Gate High Tech Magnet School believe that thinkers and problem solvers are deve1oped at an early age Our program encourages all students to be active learners both in and out of the classroom Students are taught a variety of ways to solve problems and think critically. Our purpose is to foster skills by providing a school centered around challenging interactive learning experiences, particularly experiences combining math, science, and technology.

Essential to achievement of our mission is the establishment of a community of learning, a community built upon the values of personal responsibility, respect, and consideration for others, perseverance, academic integrity, and inquiry. Our goal is to provide a sound educational experience for all students in all curriculum areas. We accomplish this by sparking the interest of all students and instructing them in the application of modern technology to the solutions of today's problems. We encourage creativity and higher-order thinking by establishing a risk-free environment of cooperative as well as trial-and-error situations. The hallmark of Vails Gate High Tech Magnet School is excitement, the excitement generated by solving problems, thinking critically, asking questions and making discoveries.
