NFA West Scholars Host Activities to Honor Parkland Students
Students observed 17 seconds of silence at 10 am to honor the 17 lives that were lost in Florida one month earlier. During lunch, a table was set up that allowed students to receive a random act of kindness to perform. Students were also able to sign up to volunteer at the Newburgh Armory. Students were also given the opportunity to write letters to families of the victims of the Parkland tragedy.
