NECSD Holds 5th Grade Math Meet
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District held the final of three 5th grade math meets for the 2011-2012 school year on Weds., November 30, 2011. The meets are designed to provide cooperative learning experiences for the students that fosters not only an interest in mathematics, but also the ability to work with a team for a friendly competition.
On Tues., December 20, 2011, Team #7, the team with the highest score, was recognized at the Board of Education Meeting for their outstanding performance. The results of the meets are as follows:
