|Community Blood Drive at NFA - September 28, 2017
We will be holding our NFA MAIN CAMPUS Blood Drive on Thursday September 28, 2017, in the Girls Gym, 201 Fullerton Avenue, Newburgh from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM. We have extended our hours so our community can donate as well.
|Race to the Mound 5K Fundraiser for NFA Goldback Ryan Danyluk
A Run to the Mound 5K Run / Walk will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Town of Newburgh Little League Complex in Honor of Ryan Danyluk. The run/ walk will begin at 9:00 am.
|Reminder: BOE Community Forum Tonight and Saturday
The district will be holding a community forum on the Capital Bond Project tonight at 6PM in the BOE Auditorium and Saturday at 9AM.
|“School Is Cool” Program Provides Backpacks to over 500 NECSD Students
Students in the district are off to a great start after over 500 students received backpacks full of school supplies at the recent School is Cool event.

Due to schedule changes there has been changes to both the first day of modified sports and the cheerleading tryout schedule.

|NECSD Seeks Public Input on Bond Proposal to Make Newburgh Future-Ready
On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Roberto Padilla unveiled a bond proposal which will be put forth to district voters during the 2017-2018 school year pending Board of Education approval.

|Reminder: Clarification for Last Week of School Schedule
June 21 and June 22 will be a full instructional day for all students. June 23rd will be a 1/2 day for HMS and MHS only, all other students on June 23rd will not attend.

Due to rain on both the past Saturday's we have set another new date for the car wash fundraiser. Saturday, June 10th, from 9am until 3pm at HMS is the new date.

The district's new website is now live. We are currently making tweaks to get everything back up and running and hope the site is fully funtional by the end of the day Monday.

The BOE Election and Budget Vote will take place today, Tuesday May 16, 2017. Polls are open from Noon until 9PM.
|HMS Race to the Top 5K Race
The 2nd annual HMS Race to the Top Walk/Run 5K will take place on Saturday, May 20th. There's still time to participate.
|Heritage MS and Meadow Hill School Now FULL DAYS on Tues., May 16th
On Tuesday, May 16, 2017 all schools will operated on a half-day schedule except for Heritage MS and Meadow Hill School which will be a regular, full day schedule.

The district's annual drill of Early Dismissal Procedures is scheduled for Thursday, September 22, 2016. Students will be released 15 minutes early on September 22nd
