|Public Community Bond Forums
The district will be holding three community bond forums in the BOE Auditorium in the month of August. Come out and learn more about the bond process, ask questions, and find out about the newest updates.
|NECSD Seeks Public Input on Bond Proposal to Make Newburgh Future-Ready
On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Roberto Padilla unveiled a bond proposal which will be put forth to district voters during the 2017-2018 school year pending Board of Education approval.
|Fall 2017 Athletic Information Added
2017-2018 athletic documents including fall cheerleading tryout information, start date locations, home game locations, and placement information has been added.
|Extended School Year Program Information and Schedule
The Extended School Year Program is right around the corner. Information about each program that will be offered over the summer is available.
|Summer Meals Kickoff Event & Serving Locations
The Newburgh Summer Meals Program is having a kickoff event on July 6th at Delano Hitch, in addition, meal locations for the summer are now available.
|Reminder: Clarification for Last Week of School Schedule
June 21 and June 22 will be a full instructional day for all students. June 23rd will be a 1/2 day for HMS and MHS only, all other students on June 23rd will not attend.

|THA Teachers become Content Enhancement Instructional Method Certified
THA teachers have become certified Content Enhancement Professional Developers through the Strategic Instruction Model and The University of Kansas.

The district's new website is now live. We are currently making tweaks to get everything back up and running and hope the site is fully funtional by the end of the day Monday.

Middle level students in Mrs. Mills’ art classes worked to create a THA Tiger mural. Our new mural is a reminder to all who enter that we are proud tigers who have restored the ROAR.

The following changes have been made to the district calendar: October 4th schools are now closed, also on October 11th, schools are now closed. In addition, April 17th, schools will be in session.

|THA September Essay/Poster Contest: Values Matter
The PBIS Committee is sponsoring the September Essay/Art Contest and invites all students in grades K-8 to participate. There are three grade band categories, K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. There will be one winner per grade band.

The district's annual drill of Early Dismissal Procedures is scheduled for Thursday, September 22, 2016. Students will be released 15 minutes early on September 22nd
