This is a reminder to students:

There will be a BOYS tennis meeting on Tuesday, September 26th in the NFA main campus lecture hall. If you are interested in trying out for Varsity tennis, the meeting will begin promptly at 2:30 and end at 3:00. If you are interested in trying out for the JV boys team, the meeting will begin at 3:30 and end at 4:00. This is a mandatory meeting for any boy, in grades 7-12, interested in playing JV or Varsity tennis this school year. If you cannot make this meeting for some reason, please contact Coach Mar at South Middle School. 

Attention Seniors: National Hispanic College Fair, Inc. is hosting a college fair at Middletown High School on Thursday, October 5th from 9 am-noon.  Seniors interested in attending can pick up a field trip permission slip and return it to the Guidance Office by Friday, September 29th.  There is no cost for the trip and it is open to the first thirty (30) seniors that sign up that are in good standing.

The NFA Debate Team will have its first meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:30 pm in Room 271 at NFA Main.

There will be a Stage Crew meeting on Monday, September 25th from 2:20-3:30 in the Black Box Theatre, Room 108, at NFA Main Campus. All students interested in set construction, painting, sound, and lights should attend. See/Contact Mrs. Pacht with any questions! 

The Annual Club Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 26th during 9th period and Post Session here at NFA Main in the Eagles Nest.  Please come out and see the different clubs and organizations you can become part of in our School Community.  Free Ice Cream from Chilly Willies if you visit 5 tables!  Late buses will be available.

Official Parking in the Student lot will begin on Monday, September 25.  Student with approved applications should report to Mr. Woody's office with their license and registration to be placed on file.   Parking passes will be given to Mr. Parrino, who will meet with the students, identify their car and person, and put the pass in the car.

Any students who park in student parking without an authorized tag will be ticketed or towed.

Reminder:  Students will be released 15 minutes earlier than their normally scheduled time in order to test the early dismissal response procedures of the    DISTRICT EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN AND SCHOOL SAFETY PLANS.  All after-school activities/programs scheduled before 5:30 pm. will be cancelled.  Activities after 5:30 pm will be held as scheduled.

There will be a blood drive in the girl’s gym on September 28th from 8:30AM – 7:00 PM.  There will be a meeting on Monday September 25th for all students who would like to volunteer.

The PSAT test is encouraged for all college bound Juniors and Sophomores and will be given on Saturday, October 14 here at NFA Main. The cost of the test is $25.  Please bring cash or check made out to "NECSD"

Late bus runs begin Monday, September 18th, The schedule for next week will be Monday and Tuesday starting at 3:40. When students stay for late buses, they should receive a late bus pass from their teacher. Students riding late buses MUST attend a class and be present in CAFE C by 3:30. Only students with passes will be permitted to ride the late buses. After next week, we will have late bus runs starting Monday, September 25th each day. Students need to check with Security in CAFE C.
