Earn College Credit Through Mercy College
Dear Student/Parent/Guardian:
Registration for spring semester Mercy College courses is now underway. The articulation agreement between Mercy College, located in Dobbs Ferry, New York and Newburgh Free Academy allows students in selected courses the opportunity to earn college credits for a reduced fee. Many colleges and universities accept these credits for advanced standing, to pursue more challenging courses or to reduce semester courseload.
Students interested in earning college credit through Mercy College must sign up with their school counselor by Monday, February 22. Registration forms may be picked up from any of our Guidance offices. The cost of tuition is $50 per credit; checks should be made payable to Mercy College and include the students name and Social Security number.
A list of eligible spring semester courses is listed on the reverse side of this letter for your reference. Please contact your school counselor to answer any questions relative to this program.
Sincerely,
Alan R. Fairey
Director, Counseling and Guidance
