Energy Education Program News

Energy is perhaps our most rapidly rising operating expense. Our District is facing the dilemma of increased expectations and reduced state funding; therefore, energy management is a necessity.

Our mission is to provide the best possible education for all our students. Because rising energy costs have continued to take over increasing amounts of budget dollars, the school district has adopted an energy conservation policy.

In addition, our Energy Education Specialist Roger Ramjug is responsible for implementing a comprehensive energy management program for the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. He is our appointed authority on the successful methods of reducing energy costs.

More information and resources about energy conservation and our program will be added soon.

In the meantime here is an article about the about the benefits of cleaner, greener, more efficient school facilities.
