We are pleased to post our first half-day Staff Development Day Program listing our winter 2010 workshops. The sessions described in this posting are the result of your responses to a recent survey conducted by the Curriculum and Instruction Office. These programs are directly related to the multi-faceted curriculum initiatives, building objectives, and the input from faculty meetings, principal meetings, director meetings and administrative council sessions. Permit us to personally thank our Board of Education for its continued commitment to providing the necessary funding and support for staff development. We also wish to commend our enthusiastic in-district staff for volunteering their time and sharing both their knowledge and expertise. The feedback continues to be very positive. Your contributions have added many worthwhile and interesting presentations to our agenda.
During this program, it is hoped that our staff will explore professional growth through our assorted program offerings. Our staff is requested to attend the session which they are assigned, and to complete the sign-in sheet which is provided for our records. Administrators will be free to travel from session to session within their building to gather materials and observe presentations that support their building and staff needs. At the end of the day, all presenters are requested to return their sign-in sheets to the Curriculum and Instruction Office.
