MLK Day of Service, Monday, January 18, 2021

Join the NECSD My Brother's Keepers (MBK) Fellows for an MLK Day of Service. On Monday, January 18, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM MBK scholars have coordinated a drive-thru mask distribution at the Newburgh Free Library. Then, MBK Scholars will be doing senior home visits to drop off masks and hand sanitizer from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The overall goal is to communicate the continued need to remain vigilant and to help stop the spread of COVID 19. The distribution event is in conjunction with the Presidential Inauguration Committee on the National Day of Service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

Masks were donated as part of the Rotary's One Million Mask Challenge.

En honor al Día de Servicio de MLK, el Dr. Padilla, los becarios de My Brother's Keeper (MBK) y el alcalde Torrance Harvey distribuirán máscaras y desinfectantes de manos el lunes 18 de enero de 2021, desde las 12 del mediodía hasta la 1:00 por la tarlde en Newburgh. Biblioteca gratuita a través de una distribución de acceso directo y directo. El objetivo general es comunicar la necesidad continua de permanecer alerta y ayudar a detener la propagación de COVID 19. ¡El evento de distribución es en conjunto con el Comité de Inauguración Presidencial en el Día Nacional de Servicio en el Día de Martin Luther King, Jr.!
