Marist College Upward Bound is accepting applications from 8^th, 9^th, and 10^th grade students currently attending any school in the district. Applicants should have the desire to attend college immediately after high school and persist in college until earning a degree. Upward Bound students must participate two hours per week during the school year and attend a six-week residential program at Marist College during the summer. To be eligible, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria: be a first generation college student (parents do not have an accredited  Bachelor’s degree) or be from a low income household (based on taxable income).  Applications are available from your guidance counselor and at www.marist.edu/upwardbound.  For more information, please email upward.bound@marist.edu.
