Nationwide Simulcast: Graduate Together: America Honors The Class of 2020

For many students, graduation from high school marks the completion of 13 years of educational and personal growth on the path to adulthood and independence. It is a time to celebrate academic, athletic and artistic accomplishments as well as bonds formed with friends and educators. The Class of 2020 has earned a celebratory send-off, just like the seniors that came before.

Saturday, May 16, at 8 p.m. Eastern, former President Barack Obama will deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors nationwide as part of an hour-long multimedia Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020 event. This program will be aired simultaneously Saturday evening by more than 20 broadcast TV and digital streaming partners. Joining Obama will be NBA star and school founder LeBron James, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, the Jonas Brothers and soccer superstar Megan Rapinoe, among others. The event will feature highlights from thousands of student submissions, a collection of commencement addresses, celebrity performances and inspirational vignettes. Learn more about this event and how you and your family can submit stories to be shared.
