Newburgh Free Academy is one of thirteen (13) schools in New York State to earn this prestigious honor. NFA is the first school in section 9 to receive this national award.

We know it’s important for girls to SEE WHAT THEY CAN BE, so the curriculum highlights personal life experiences and stories shared by WNBA players from all 12 WNBA teams.

Elle Gerbes qualified and competed in the NYS Girls Swimming State Championship meet for the second consecutive year. Elle competed in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle.

NFA proudly celebrates three high school athletes who have committed to study and complete collegiately for Division I and II schools. Student-athletes were recognized and celebrated by their coaches, family members, friends, teammates, and guests.
