South Middle School 8th Grade Awards Ceremony
On Tuesday, June 13th, South Middle School 8th graders were recognized for their outstanding achievements throughout the 2022-2023 school year. South Principal, Mr. Roderick Phoenix welcomed families as they gathered in the auditorium to watch their scholars receive achievement awards in Math, Science, Art, Physical Education, Music and even South Middle School's Security Monitor, Ricky Johnson's award. Assistant Principal, Ms. Kelly Amendola spoke directly to the students and their families of how proud she is of each 8th grader and the strides they have made from the beginning of their time at South to present day.
