Horizons on the Hudson had our first Math and Movement Day! Math Mats were placed around the school, with directions and materials posted next to the mats for kids to use all day long. And out on our field, teachers brought their classes outside to play math fact relays, solve equations on a giant hundreds chart, and identify shapes using attributes! The whole school participated, preK-5th graders, and had a blast learning math while using their whole bodies!
