The New York State Department of Health and New York State Education Department commissioners have issued a joint statement regarding the coronavirus. They have requested we share it with our school district community.
Earlier this week Meadow Hill kindergarten and 1st grade students celebrated 100 days of learning. Kindergarteners dressed up as spry elderly citizens.
The Albany Indoor Percussion Ensemble, over 120 musicians played a multitude of percussion instruments throughout the day, including pitched bass, snare, tenor and timpani drums, along with cymbals, marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, and more.
This year’s theme for the Reading Retreat was “Being Creative.” The purpose of the Reading Retreat is to promote the love and joy of reading amongst students throughout the building.
NFA P-TECH will be hosting their 2nd Annual #SheCanSTEM event. The theme for this year - Get Your Head in the Cloud! Wednesday, March 4, 2020 (snow date Thursday, March 5, 2020) from 6pm -8pm.
