The Spelling Bee is underway! Schools are hosting individual spelling contests. Top placers from those school competition will advance to the Districtwide Spelling Bee that will be held later this year.

This newsletter will serve as a high-level overview, with links to allow our community to dive deeper into topics that are most important to them.

Although accumulation is not expected to be significant, the forecast predicting a combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain throughout the morning travel times and standard half-day dismissal times.

Students conducted in-depth research on influential activists, synthesizing their findings into digital presentations. To bring their research to life, several scholars donned attire representing their chosen historical figures.

The Newburgh Gorhams were a premier semi-professional Black baseball team that called Newburgh, specifically "Benkard Heights," home during the era of the Negro Leagues.

This wasn't just about reading books; it was about teamwork. By working together, the students were able to share ideas, help each other find facts, and learn from one another's perspectives.
