Pre-K scholars from throughout the area were invited to celebrate the end of their school year at the Hudson Valley Renegades game. Scholars, families, and Pre-K teachers marched around the outfield and received certificates from Rascal and Rosie, the team's mascots, before enjoying the game with their families. Congratulations to all of our Pre-K scholars!

As a reminder, Pre-K registration is open for the 2026-2027 school year. Children need to turn four before December 1, 2026, to register. Pre-K is a FREE, lottery-based system, not first-come, first-served. Schools are based on zone, so students attend the school that is within a certain area of their residence. NECSD school sites for Pre-K are: Balmville, Gardnertwon, Horizons on the Hudson, and Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS). NECSD also supports Pre-K at community-based organization partner locations: Head Start of Eastern Orange County, Little Harvard, Windsor Academy, SUNY Lab/Kindercollege, Healthy Kids, Bishop Dunn Memorial School, and Young and Unique Corporation.
