Newburgh Free Academy hosted their annual Powderpuff Football Game
Ladies in the junior and senior classes competed against each other in a flag football team as the annual tradition continued. As part of the Pep Rally and Homecoming festivities, the Powderpuff games gives the ladies a chance to shine on the football field.
This year, the game was an exciting one with the junior class tying the game with three seconds on the clock! With one last chance to redeem themselves, the senior class scored on a single drive with Diamond Bullard sprinting 65 yards down the field to bring the class of 2019 to victory! Diamond scored four touchdowns throughout the game.
Coaches included teacher Mr. Liam Henderson for the seniors and Mr. Bob Shust, assistant principal for NFA Main Campus for the juniors, as well as members of the Boys Varsity Football Team.
