Newburgh Free Academy West Campus recognized and celebrated Ms. Carolee Hamlin for School Social Work week. School Social Workers are licensed mental health professionals with a master’s degree in social work who provide ​trauma-informed services related to a person’s social, emotional and life adjustment to school and/or society. School Social Workers rise up – supporting their students, families, and school communities.
