NFA proudly celebrates three high school athletes who have committed to study and complete collegiately for Division I and II schools. Student-athletes were recognized and celebrated by their coaches, family members, friends, teammates, and guests.

The show "Season of Light," is a dome show, shown all over during the holiday season. The show recounts the historical religious and cultural rituals practiced during the time of winter solstice.

All conferences are held on a first come, first served basis. Conferences will be limited to 10 minutes. Report Cards will be made available on the Parent Portal on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Meadow Hill held its 8th annual Halloween parade. Upper elementary and middle-level students lined the halls eager to greet and high-five their younger counterparts.

Meadow Hill middle-level students held a festive fall celebration filled with dancing and festive treats. A great time was had by all.

During the months of September and October Meadow Hill GEMS students and staff stood united adorning colors for a cause in support of ovarian, breast, and childhood cancer awareness.

Calling all Superheroes! Bring Your Superhero to New Windsor School will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 9:30am. We look forward to seeing all of our New Windsor School Superheroes there!

Heritage Middle School took a moment to celebrate two heroes: Mr. John Kennedy (first-year teacher at Heritage) and Mr. Joe Fabiano, Security Monitor.

Newburgh Free Academy Performed Little Shop of Horrors thanks to the generous donation of the intricate plant props needed to interact with the cast to make the story come to life.

Councilwoman Lincoln discussed her role as a councilwoman in New Windsor and the various levels of local and state government. Councilwoman Lincoln also discussed the election process with students.

During his visit, Assemblyman Jacobson outlined the steps involved in being elected to the New York State Assembly. He provided an overview of the state budget process and the legislative process for passing bills.

Parent teacher conferences for South Middle School are scheduled on the following dates and times on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 7:15 AM - 10:15 AM.

The NFA Book Club will be reading Dear Medusa: (A Novel in Verse) by Olivia A. Cole as their November selection. The meeting to discuss the book is scheduled for December 5th.

Throughout October, our school community came together to collect socks that will be donated directly to a youth shelter, a critical resource that supports many students within our district.

Students are welcomed to come and learn about HBCUs, the purposes and benefits of African-American Greek fraternities and sororities, to strengthen their network, and increase opportunities for college and career.
