NFA North Scholars Tour Orange County Emergency Management/E-911 Center
Mr. Truncale's Cooperative Work Experience class toured the Orange County Emergency Management/ E -911 Center. Senior E-911 Dispatcher trainer Terry Reynolds discussed the duties, responsibilities, and training to become an E-911 Call Taker/Dispatcher. Students also toured the E-911 Center Control room, witnessed daily operation of center, and got to see the OCEM Incident Command Center, an area that would be staffed with hundreds of first responders, utility providers, and military personnel that would assist during a natural disaster or emergency situation.
