NFA Key Club Hosts Second Annual International Night
On Friday, February 15, NFA Key Club hosted their second annual International Night. International Night was a student led event planned and hosted by officers: Eliana Rodriguez (Key Club President), Annie Yang (Key Club Vice President), Jacqueline Aquino (Key Club Secretary) and Linda Chen (Key Club treasurer). The event hosted over 200 guests, with both of NFA North’s cafeterias filled. Homemade food from all around the world was donated to celebrate Newburgh’s cultural diversity and celebrate the beauty in our community. Performances by Yvette Aquino, Steven Rosas, Therese Fischer, and Ruben Rodriguez showcased only a fraction of the student and community bound talent in Newburgh. Newburgh families came together and raised over $1,000 for the Thirst Project - surpassing Key Club’s goal to raise $1,000. The night reminded all that there is truly unity in Newburgh’s community.
