Temple Hill Hosts Second Annual 5th Grade Career Panel
On March 13th, Temple Hill Academy hosted their second annual 5th Grade Career Panel that was facilitated by Juana Rivera. This event was an opportunity for students to interact with four professionals in a wide variety of career areas to learn about what it takes to prepare for a specific career and what it takes to be successful in the world of work in general.
The four guest speakers were Ms. Tara Jackson, a professional Chef, Mr. Joe LaGrutta, a Marketing and Analytics Consultant/ Entrepreneur, Ms. Erika Monell, a Certified Personal & Professional Coach who is also an IT professional, and Mr. Loui Cardenas, an Police Officer for the NYPD.
Each panelist was asked a series of questions followed by a Q&A sessions for students to ask their questions.
