City of Newburgh Police Department Welcomes Three NFA Graduates
The City of Newburgh Police Department welcomed on board three Newburgh Free Academy graduates last week at a brief ceremony at City Hall.
The new officers, Lawrence Eberwein (class of 2003), Kristopher Antonacci (class of 2013), and Edwin Jandres (class of 2012) must graduate the Police Academy before joining the rest of the force.
Edwin was part of the Law Academy, led by Mr. Timothy Toomey and Mr. Michael Truncale. Of the program, Mr. Jandres said, "At the end of the day this is home. The classes with them definitely cemented what I wanted to do."
