NFA Student Council Vistis Capitol Building
On May 1st, the NFA Student Council took a field trip to the state Capitol Building in Albany, New York. While there, students met our local state assemblyman, Jonathan Jacobson, who spoke to the group and had introduced the students on the Assembly Floor during session. The council took a tour of the building and had their photo taken on the famous "million dollar steps." The students also met the Common Council President of Albany, Mr. Corey Ellis, who spoke to them about leadership, politics and helping others. It was a wonderful day of learning for our students.
Story and photos provided by Ms. Melanie Larkin.
