Meadow Hill Students “Spring” into Science Learning Experiences
This spring students in Mrs. Winfield-Corbett’s middle school class and Mrs. Countryman’s third grade class have used frogs to enhance student-learning experiences. Mrs. Winfield-Corbett’s students recently performed frog dissections to analyze the internal and external anatomy of these amphibians to culminate their unit on body systems. In addition to analyzing the anatomy of frogs, Mrs. Winfield-Corbett’s class also performed a catfish dissection. Mrs. Countryman’s third grade students created Google slide show presentations to display the research they conducted on frogs. This was the first time her third graders created Google slide show presentations on their own. Nice job scholars for all of your hard work!
