Human Capital Partners Host 2nd Annual New Employee Dinner
Research shows that around 33% of new employees will quit within the first 6 months of a new job, and even more shockingly, that same percentage knew within the first week of a job whether they would be with the company long-term (SHRM, 2016). The Human Capital Partners Division is committed to collaborating with stakeholders to not only recruit, grow, and support new employees, we are equally focusing our efforts on retention.
For the second consecutive year, the Human Capital Partners have collaborated with Mr. John Etri, and Mr. Rodriguez to coordinate the New Employee Dinner. The purpose of this gathering is to recognize and show appreciation for our new members to the NECSD family. Additionally, we elicit feedback from new employees on the supports that have helped them in the transition into their new positions and what could assist in the improvement of our onboarding experience.
Overall, the event was a huge success due to the AMAZING scholars and educators in the CTE Culinary Program at NFA Main.
