Fostertown School Hosts 3rd Annual Leadership Day
Fostertown School hosted their 3rd Annual Leadership Day on Thursday, May 23. As a Leader in Me School, Fostertown scholars use the 8 Habits to become leaders.
The day started with Students hosting their parents and serving them a healthy breakfast followed by the Leader in Me Showcase where students spoke about the 8 Habits. Later in the showcase parents and friends were treated to a sample of the Spring play, Annie Jr. Student Lighthouse Teams led parents on school tours and the school hosted a rally for scholars later in the afternoon.
Additional leadership opportunities were displayed throughout the school, including the Science Club scholars teaching younger classes about their projects, including bird nests, solar activity, and animal footprints and tracking. Younger grades displayed a series of dioramas featuring sea life and both marine and land mammals.
