NFA Biology Students Participate in Scientist-Mentored Study
NFA Main Campus Advanced Placement Biology students participated in a scientist-mentored, National Institute of Health funded, American Botanical Society project of curriculum study. The students designed, conducted, and reported their experiments and findings about factors that affect photosynthesis. Scientists across the globe were assigned to individual teams and mentored them throughout the process.
Two of the team’s mentors nominated the students for their excellent work to become members of this year’s Star Project cohort. After being nominated one of the NFA teams won the distinction. The following students are Star Project winners:
