NFA West Scholars Participate in Communication, Strategy, and Teamwork Activities
Scholars at NFA West participated in a “Fall Jam” which included activities to facilitate communication, strategy, and teamwork. The event began with a birthday celebration for custodian Eric Cortez. Activities included a “mine” maze in which five students who were blindfolded needed to navigate through the maze with the help of their teammates. NFA West scholars utilized communication and vocabulary to successfully complete their mission. Next, scholars were given the task of playing a seated basketball game. Scholars were not allowed to stand from their seats. Scholars engaged in strategy and communication to accomplish their goal of scoring the most points.
