Supt. Graduates from AASA National Superintendent Certification Program
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District is proud to announce the graduation of Superintendent of Schools Dr. Roberto Padilla from the American Association of School Administrators (AA-SA) National Certification Program. A graduation ceremony was held in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
The prestigious program focuses on educational issues such as: effective instructional leadership, equity, transformational leadership, effective Board-Superintendent relations, the impact of eco-nomic pressures and budgeting, communication with all district stakeholders and navigating community, state and national politics. The rigorous program took over two years to complete and brings together leaders from across the nation.
“It’s an honor to represent our district on the national level and bring awareness to the talent we possess. These are exciting times in Newburgh. This is just the beginning for us,” said Dr. Padilla.
