Goldbacks Give Back! NFA Cheerleaders Volunteer Time in Multiple Communities!
Over the last two weekends, the NFA Cheerleaders have been doing some great community service. Two weekends ago, the group participated in the annual Breast Cancer walk for Hudson Valley Making Strides. Last weekend the team volunteered for Beautiful People, which is a Warwick-based non-profit that runs adaptive sports for children with physical and developmental disabilities all over Orange County. The NFA Goldbacks Cheerleading team paired up with their cheerleading squad for a performance and lots of fun!
Beautiful People also runs a soccer league, basketball league and baseball in the spring. If any other Newburgh teams are interested in partnering with Beautiful for a day or a season, please contact NFA Varsity Cheerleading Coach, Chelsea Williams.
