Fifth grade HOH Students Visit Congressman Maloney’s District Office

Fifth grade students in Ms. Hoffman’s Unlimited Horizons class visited the district office of Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney recently. The students asked questions about the role of a member of Congress, how the system of government works and how the district office staff assists the community.  The students also had an opportunity to submit their concerns in writing to the Congressman. Congressman Maloney’s staff presented the students with a letter from the congressman as well as packages including a copy of the United States Constitution, a flag and a flag pin.
