Fifth Grade Unlimited Horizons Students Host Decimal Game Day
Students in Ms. Hoffman’s Fifth Grade Unlimited Horizons class at Horizons on the Hudson Magnet School shared games they designed and constructed with other fifth grade classes recently. The students worked in small groups or with a partner to create math games using different decimal operations. After establishing the rules, the students needed to make and solve the math problems that were involved. Once the games were completed, they tested them out before inviting students in the other classes to play.
