NFA's Visual Communications Class Recruited to Design Habitat's Annual Walk T-shirt
Newburgh Free Academy's Visual Communications class was recruited by two alumni to create a design for their annual walk. Mr. Matthew Arbolino, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and Mr. Gary Chasteen Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, both alumni of Newburgh Free Academy, recruited scholars to create a design for their annual Walk for Housing.
Students will create and pitch their designs to the Habitat team in the next few weeks.
The "Fullterton Crew" is part of the Visual Communication and Design Program taught by Mr. Jeffrey Gebhardt, specifically VC 3, at NFA Main Campus. The club is a student-centered design firm meeting the needs of design for both school, district, and community.
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
