Chromebook Distribution for Grades 1, 2, and 3
TECHNOLOGY DISTRIBUTION
Chromebooks will be distributed for Grades 1, 2, and 3 ONLY on Wednesday, September 2nd, 8:30am-3:30pm at Newburgh Free Academy Main Campus (201 Fullerton Ave., Newburgh), in the lower parking lot.
Please note, if your scholar has access to a device at home, they should not need a Chromebook. Many programs are web based and should work on most devices.
This is a distribution only. We will not be doing swap outs or repairs for this distribution. If a parent/guardian is not available to pick up the device, someone can come on their behalf. Anyone picking up a device must bring a photo ID, along with the ID# for the scholar. If you do not have the ID#, you must provide the name, grade level, and school.
Face coverings that cover your nose and mouth are required when on school grounds. Please also be aware of NYS social distancing requirements and be sure to stay at least 6 feet away from other families when arriving and leaving.
Information about a final distribution for scholars in grades 4-12 will be coming soon. We will schedule a deployment specific to Pre-K and Kindergarten once those devices arrive in the next few weeks. Learning for those scholars is explained on our website.
