School Board Recognition - Thank You!
At this week's Board of Education meeting, we took a moment to thank and recognize our trustees for their endless dedication and commitment to overseeing the education of our community's youth. The hours our board members volunteer to increase student achievement doesn't go unnoticed. The key work of the school board is to raise student achievement by setting the example at the top.
Our trustees have been very vocal about supporting equity across the district. The Board established a goal to enable all students to achieve their fullest potential. The Board of Education will work to develop culturally responsive curriculum. In addition, they will review and change policies and hiring practices and promote anti-racism philosophy.
