Newburgh Free Library Revives the Newburgh Girls Code Club
Newburgh Girls Code Club (NGCC) is an after-school coding club and youth leadership development program focused on educating youth on coding and the career opportunities that come with STEAM learning, using the Girls Who Code™ curriculum. This year the program will run for Mondays and Thursdays beginning February 22, 2020 through June 3, 2021.
All youth ages 10-18 in the Newburgh enlarged city school district, who identify as girls or who prefer to learn in a female centered environment, regardless of school status, are invited to apply.
Two information sessions will be held: Thursday, Jan. 14th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 21th, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Both information sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. Interested individuals can RSVP to either information session via Eventbrite: bit.ly/ngccvirtualinfo
