Race to the Mound 5K Fundraiser for NFA Goldback Ryan Danyluk

NEWBURGH, NY—A Run to the Mound 5K Run / Walk will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Town of Newburgh Little League Complex in Honor of Ryan Danyluk. The run/ walk will begin at 9:00 am. The run will take place on Lakeside Street and the surrounding neighborhoods. T-Shirts will be given to the first 300 pre-registered racers. Refreshments will be provided to all registered racers and will be available to spectators and other participants for a marginal fee.

Ryan, a Newburgh Free Academy Pitcher was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the most advanced form of lymphoma. He maintains a positive outlook on his illness and his road to recovery. The support received by the local baseball community and community at large has been overwhelming. We are hoping all local teams, students, and our community can come out on Saturday October 28th to help us kick Hodgkin’s Lymphoma out of the park! We are actively seeking sponsors for this event. We are asking for your support to help raise funds for the family to offset medical expenses. This will give your business a wonderful marketing and promotion opportunity while giving back.
