NECSD Launches Annual United Way Fundraising Campaign
On January 27 the Newburgh Enlarged City School District and the United Way hosted the annual United Way Fundraising Campaign! In addition to the kickoff festivities, the eighteen attendees learned about United Way resources and resources in the local community to support the NECSD family in our efforts to help our scholars and families. The United Way was a tremendous partner when the pandemic first hit, and continues to support our scholars, families and schools on a consistent basis. We hope that you will reach deep if you can and show the heart the NECSD has for the communities it serves. Our goal this year is $10,000! An email is being sent to each employee in the district regarding the campaign. The deadline to sign up to give is on Valentine's Day, Sunday, February 14. There are multiple ways to give this year. You can do a one-time gift or over time through payroll deductions. The United Way designed a website and a web page for each school. The United Way campaign enrollment web page for each school is located on their school web page and the District website. Please take the opportunity to let your families and community partners know about the campaign as well. The United Way is going to honor schools who have successful campaigns!
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
