Newburgh Free Academy Libraries Celebrate Reading for Black History Month
The Newburgh Free Academy Library has put together a sample of books for scholars to read for Black History Month. Scholars can sign up for homeroom delivery or curbside pick up through an app on their Launchpad. Additional resources are also available on the Google Classroom for the library. Scholars will need to be signed into their student account to access the resources.
Stay tuned for the spring virtual book club. The Newburgh Free Academy Libraries meet weekly as scholars progress through the selected book each semester. Scholars and families can follow the Newburgh Free Academy Library on Twitter for up to date information.
Scholars or families who wish to sign up for a Newburgh Free Library card to access books and resources from our local library system can click here to learn more.
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
