Athletics Update

Due to current Yellow Zone restrictions, varsity and junior varsity athletics cannot compete within the designated Yellow Zone area. The NECSD Athletics Department has been working hard to coordinate locations outside of the Yellow Zone for Fall II competitions in order to comply with current guidelines. 

Although our NFA teams will not be competing on our fields, they will be designated as the “home” team as originally scheduled throughout the season. Athletes should continue to check the schedule as updates to date, time, and location of competitions continue to be made.

Spectators should follow the guidelines in place at the location of the competition.

We are thankful for our colleagues in neighboring districts who have helped accommodate our needs, so our scholars can continue to compete during this season.

Media should follow the guidelines shared by Section IX. Zoom interviews can be coordinated by the district’s Communication’s team.
