Masks Donated by Rotary Distributed to Families in Need
The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Team coordinated a mask distribution with their weekly Food Backpack Distribution program last week.
Mask were donated by the Greater Newburgh Rotary Club as part of their Million Mask Challenge and distributed to the families as well.
Pictured are Ms. Kori Rogers, McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison after loading the CHI van with Food Backpack supplies, holding a box of mask donated by the Rotary Club, the driver for the program picked up food for the NECSD McKinney-Vento Families in need, and a Deacon Jack Seymour Food Pantry volunteer who packed the bags with the food for our district scholars and helped in loading up the bags to be delivered to the District Families residing at CHI.
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
