Heritage Middle School students enjoy Fall Literacy Escape!
Students participated in a Fall Literacy Escape at Heritage Middle School with multiple themed activities inspiring love for literacy. Three more Literacy Escapes have been planned for the rest of the year, each with a different theme. As part of this event, students and teachers worked together to decorate doors with themes from their favorite books and participated in different themes of literacy throughout the event.
Different themes throughout the event included DEAR Time (Drop Everything and Read), create-a-book quilt, an optional Door Tour, snack time provided by the PTO, as well as other optional literacy activities.
ATTENTION: Are your scholars or colleagues doing something great? Please contact the district Communications Team at communications@necsd.net. We’d love to visit your class or event and/or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
