In April of 2021, Ms. Lisa Holl and her team coordinated an online assembly with New York Senator James Skoufis. He presented to approximately 100 middle school scholars at Heritage Middle School to discuss the New York State Senate Earth Day 2021 Poster Celebration. Scholars in grades K-6 were invited to work independently or in teams to create posters in celebration of Earth Day. The theme this year: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The students who entered the contest received certificates for their participation.
Scholars who participated included: Ashley Rodriguez, Ellsworth Babcock, Devon Pinto, Samantha Fagan, Christiana Camacho, Lucia Capodiferro. Great work, scholars!
