NECSD Scholars and Faculty Volunteer at Vaccination Sites
The Newburgh Enlarged City School district has offered four vaccine clinics to date to scholars 12 years of age and older (Pfizer) at Newburgh Free Academy Main Campus. The district, in collaboration with Middletown Medical, has distributed nearly 700 COVID-19 vaccinations to scholars and their families. The clinics have been made possible by several school nursing and teacher volunteers, as well as current and alumni members of the Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
