A new tradition! Inaugural Blue & Gold Gala

The Inaugural Blue & Gold Gala was held last weekend. The magnetic pillars of NFA Main looked even more so on Friday night as students walked a red carpet with lights aglow to welcome them and capture their entrance, as a new tradition is established.

This Fall has brought an influx of traditional events at NFA. The Pep Rally brought back the Little Brown Jug (more to come on that soon!) and new tradition has arrived with the Blue & Gold Gala. With hopes of more home games in October, the planning has already begun for next year. Ideally, these events would coincide with a football game and occur during the typical Homecoming time to attract more students.

 “This is the start of old traditions coming back and establishing some new traditions. It gives the kids something to look forward to and will maybe encourage some students to get off the 93% list, so they can attend. The students just need something for them to do – for them to look forward to.” Mr. Shust, Assistant Principal for NFA Main and coordinator for Student Activities.
